Terms & conditions for the online competition ‘OPPO Champions League giveaway’

Article 1: Introduction

1.1. Opeak N.V. (hereinafter ‘the Organiser’), whose registered office is located at Esplanade 1, bus 24, 1020 Brussels, Belgium, is organising a competition with no obligation to purchase, starting on 13/09/2024 at 09h00 and ending on 16/09/2024 at 17h00. This competition will only take place on Belgian territory.

1.2. These regulations set out the rules regarding the conditions for participation in the ‘OPPO Champions League giveaway’ competition organised on the web page https://oppo-belgium.store/pages/ucl-ticket-giveaway. These rules are only available on the web page https://oppo-belgium.store/pages/competition-terms.

1.3. Participation in the competition implies acceptance of the present rules without reservations and acceptance of any other decision taken by the organiser and/or the jury to ensure the smooth running of this competition. The organiser reserves the right to exercise control over the conduct of the competition and to shorten, lengthen, modify or cancel it. The possible nullity of any of the clauses of the present agreement does not affect the validity of the other clauses.

Article 2: Conditions of participation

2.1. The Competition is open to any physical person over 18 years of age who has his or her place of residence in Belgium at the time of the Competition (hereinafter ‘the Participant’) excluding staff members of organiser or any person involved in the organisation of the Competition and people living under their roof.

2.2. Participation in this competition is free and with no purchase obligation. The participant is however, fully responsible for the expenses (telephone, internet connection, etc.) made in the context of his/her participation in the competition.

2.3. Participation in the competition implies knowledge and acceptance of the characteristics and limitations of the internet and the uncertainties inherent in communications on the Internet, in particular as regards technical performance, the waiting times for consulting, retrieving or transferring data, the risk of interruptions and more. Under no circumstances may the organiser be held liable for a breakdown of the Internet connection or of the service providers of the technical services as a result of which a participation is not possible, is lost or delayed. The organiser cannot be held liable for any incompatibility between the technologies used for the competition and the hardware or software configuration by the participants.

Article 3: Procedure of the competition

3.1. The competition is available on the web page https://oppo-belgium.store/pages/ucl-ticket-giveaway from 13/09/2024 at 09h00 to 16/09/2024 at 17h00.

3.2. Only submissions that are complete and submitted in the manner described below are eligible.

3.3. From the start date of the competition, the participant can go to the web page https://oppo-belgium.store/pages/ucl-ticket-giveaway and follow the following steps:

I. Submit your contact details (first name, last name and e-mail address).

II. Submit your answer to the competition question.

III. Submit your answer to the tiebreaker question.

3.4. Only one entry is allowed per participant. If a participant enters multiple entries, the Organiser will only accept the first entry.

3.5. An entry will only be viewed by the Organiser if all fields are correctly filled in.

3.6. The Organiser automatically and unilaterally reserves the right to reject entries, which do not comply with the above rules, without having to justify itself.

Article 4: The prize

4.1. The prize consists of two C1 entry tickets to the UEFA Champions League match between Club Brugge and Borussia Dortmund on 18/09/2024 at 21h00 at the Jan Breydelstadion in Bruges, Belgium. Travel to the stadium is at the winner's own expense.

4.2. Two prizes will be awarded to two winners, but only one prize per winner will be awarded. The winners will be chosen from all eligible participants. The prize won is personal and not transferable to third parties. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash money, nor can it be refunded.

4.3. The winner will be personally notified via e-mail. Entitlement to the prize will be forfeited if the winner does not respond within 24 hours after receipt of the e-mail from the Organiser, in which case another winner will be selected.

Article 5: Verification of competition and decisions

5.1. The Organiser verifies the smooth running of the competition. If not all competition conditions are met or in case of abuse, cheating or fraud, the Organiser reserves the right to exclude the relevant participant to be excluded from the competition, and excluded from other competitions of the Organiser.

5.2. The competition result is binding and irrevocable. It cannot be contested. There can be no correspondence (by post, e-mail or telephone) about the result and the course of the competition. The selection of the winner by the Organiser is final.

Article 6: Personal information

6.1. The processing of participants' personal data collected by the Organiser shall be subject to the application of the General Data Protection Regulation, on the protection of privacy in relation to the processing of personal data. The Organiser (located at the above address) is the data controller of the participants' data.

6.2. Participants' data will be recorded and processed by the Organiser to identify the participants of the competition and manage the results.

6.3. In case a participation contains personal data of another person (name, surname and/or e-mail address), the participant guarantees that he has transmitted to this person all the information referred to in Article 2, Article 3 and Article 4, and that he has obtained the consent of the person concerned to process and transmit these data to the Organiser for use in accordance with these regulations.

Article 7: Liability

7.1. Under no circumstances can the Organiser be held liable for accidents, costs, indirect or direct damage (both physical damage and property damage) that might occur as a result of a participant's participation in this competition. The same applies to the winner of the competition. Under no circumstances can the Organiser be held liable for any accidents, costs, indirect or direct damage that may arise as a result of the prize of the competition.

7.2. The Organiser is also not liable for:

I. third-party fraud, false statements;

II. insufficient, incomplete or erroneous entries;

III. failure of the internet or technical services, hardware and/or software necessary for processing and managing the results of the competition as well as any other IT problem;

IV. postponement, suspension or cancellation of the competition;

V. the postponement, shortening and/or modification of the competition rules or formula.

Article 8: Applicable law and disputes

The present regulations have been drawn up in accordance with Belgian law. All disputes that may arise from these regulations, more specifically regarding the validity, interpretation and/or implementation are the exclusive responsibility of the Belgian courts.
