Agreement Regarding the Screen Protection Service

Please read the terms and conditions carefully before purchasing the Screen Protection Service. Your rights are clearly stated in this agreement. By purchasing the Screen Protection Service on the official OPPO website, you agree to the terms of this agreement. The Screen Protection Service is provided by OPPO ("Company").

  1. Definition

  2. Smartphone: The OPPO smartphones for which the end user purchases the Screen Protection Service.

    • Screen Protection Service ("Service"): This service must be purchased along with the smartphone. During the service period, the end user can replace the damaged screen ONCE for free within one year from the purchase date of the smartphone, for cracks on the screen due to accidental dropping, pressing, or impact:
      • (1) The company will replace the screen free of charge, using the same material and quality as the original screen, due to cracks on the screen from accidental dropping, pressing, or impact during normal use.
      • (2) If there is other non-screen-related functional damage, the end user is responsible for the relevant repair costs.

    Service Period: The service is valid for one year from the purchase date (as stated on the purchase invoice) of the smartphone.

  3. Purchase Method Purchase the service when buying a smartphone on the official OPPO website.

  4. Procedure During the service period, the following procedure applies:

    • (1) The end user must submit the damaged smartphone along with the purchase invoice to the company's service point (website: https://support.oppo.com/nl/) and pick up the smartphone after the repair.

    Reminder: Make a backup of the data stored on the smartphone before sending it for repair. The company is not responsible for any damage or loss of data on the smartphone.

  5. Repair Conditions

    • (1) The company owns the damaged components and parts after modification. The company will recycle the defective part.
    • (2) If there are other defects besides the screen, and the screen cannot be normally replaced or used without fixing the other defects, the end user must first repair the other defective components before using the service. The end user will pay the full cost (if any) for repairing the other defects before using the service.
  6. The company is not liable for damage or costs caused by the following reasons:

    • (1) The model and IMEI number of the smartphone do not match what was registered when the service was purchased, or the IMEI number is incomplete, which prevents confirmation of the smartphone being included in the service.
    • (2) Any damage caused by the intent or gross negligence of the end user.
    • (3) Any indirect damage or loss to the end user.
    • (4) If the smartphone is repaired or dismantled by a non-official or unauthorized OPPO customer service center, or if the smartphone contains non-original OPPO components.
    • (5) Any force majeure events.
  7. Termination, Refund, and Adjustment

    • Termination: The service will automatically terminate in the following cases:
      • (1) The service period has expired.
      • (2) The company has fulfilled its obligations under the agreement.
    • Refund: A refund for the service will only be provided if the smartphone is returned. You will receive the refund along with the refund for the smartphone.
    • Adjustment:
      • (1) The service is linked to the smartphone that the end user purchased together with it and cannot be transferred to other devices, except in the case of exchanging the smartphone due to a defect caused by the company.
      • (2) In the case of a smartphone exchange, the remaining service period will be transferred to the new device.
  8. Modification of the Agreement The company reserves the right to modify this agreement at any time.

  9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction The laws of the People’s Republic of China apply to the conclusion, execution, interpretation, and settlement of disputes related to this agreement.

    This agreement is signed in Dongguan, Guangdong Province. In case of a dispute between the parties regarding the content or execution of this agreement, the parties will make efforts to resolve it amicably. If no agreement can be reached, either party may file a lawsuit at the competent court where the agreement was signed.
